Two Harrison Ranch Arts Guild Artists Featured in Art Matters Gallery Show! 
 

Mavis Jan-Lai and Chi Kulig will both have pieces exhibited in a juried show at the Art Center Manatee in the Kellogg & Searle Galleries. The show is called Art Matters and celebrates the importance of art in our lives and in the life of our community. The juror who selected their pieces is Barbara Anderson Hill, Consultant, City of Fort Myers Public Art Program.
 

 

Mavis Jan-Lai has a ceramic flowing bowl as well as a painting of a gorilla featured. Chi Kulig has a large ceramic hand-made vessel on display that she made as an expression of the complexities and imperfections of the ocean and organic sea life.
 

The opening reception will be held Thursday, September 3rd from 5-7PM. The gallery is located at 209 9th Street West in Bradenton. The show can also be viewed through October 2nd during Art Center hours which are: Monday, Friday, Saturday 9am-5pm; and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am-6pm.
