Sept. 2019 through Dec. 2019 Free Art Class for Kids Schedule...
It's time for more free art class for kids at the Rocky Bluff Library! The Harrison Ranch Arts Guild members volunteer to teach and lead art classes for kids at the library. Classes are hosted by the Rocky Bluff Library and sponsored by the Friends of the Rocky Bluff Library.
Over that last few years over 800 seats have been filled in these art classes. Each year a theme for a series of classes is chosen. They have ranged between learning about professional and famous artists and creating like they do, to crafts that help to express emotions, and learning specific artistic techniques.
This year the theme for the 2019-2020 art class series is "Let's Create!"
The goal of the Harrison Ranch Art Guild volunteer members is to inspire children to be more creative and learn about art in many forms.
Classes are typically open to children ages 6-12, however, the December class will be limited to children ages 9-12 due to the materials that are being used.
Space is limited, so if you sign your child up please be sure they can attend or let the library know if they cannot for whatever reason and another child may be able to take their place. Call the Rocky Bluff Library at 941-723-4821 to reserve a space for your child.
The Harrison Ranch Arts Guild would like to thank the staff at the Rocky Bluff Library, the Friends of the Rocky Bluff Library, and the parents of the children who encourage their children to be creative. These classes are so much fun for all!
