Original Water Color Paintings By Sally Wooldridge

Sally Wooldridge is watercolorist and life-long artist. She has shown and sold her artwork at numerous art shows and galleries in: Hanover, Pennsylvania; Westminster, Maryland; and York, Pennsylvania. She has also won several awards for her work.

As a small child Sally initially drew animals. She had many animal companions throughout her life, and has a deep love and respect for them. Her passion for drawing turned into experimenting with pastels, acrylics, pen and ink, oils, and watercolors.  Although she took a few class and workshops in drawing, Sally is basically a self-taught artist. When she discovered watercoloring, she fell instantly in love with the medium, and overtime has developed into a watercolorist.

In the past she was a member of the Carroll County Artist Council; Carroll County Artist Guild; and Hanover Artist Guild.  She is now a founding member of the Harrison Ranch Arts Guild.

“When I’m painting, I’m having a wonderful time and I don’t want to stop.” – Sally Wooldridge
“One thing that really inspires me is working with other artists, or spending time with them.” – Sally Wooldridge
Sally’s current works are inspired by nature, birds, animals, and still life. She enjoys painting large-scale and being able to focus on the details that can convey emotion to the viewer.
